Since grade school, Noah Thomas has been wrestling and competed in Freestyle, Greco, and Folkstyle wrestling throughout his academic career in Colorado. In 1999 Noah entered the United States Marine Corps and served as an Infantryman with the illustrious 2nd Battalion 7th Marines “Ready for all Yielding to None.” While serving with the United States Marines Corps, Noah served as a combative instructor teaching Marines of all walks of life and skill levels how to employ themselves in combat theater and domestic environments effectively.

After completing four years in the United States Marine Corps, Noah attended college in Northern Colorado. He started competing in Mixed Martial Arts after winning an open eight-man tournament in 2004. In his first year as an armature, Noah had 30 fights, continuously improving and refining his skill set. After leaving the armature ranks, Noah continued to compete professionally ranks; he held titles in multiple organizations.

Noah competed on the legendary UFC lightweight and welterweight champion BJ Penn’s team. While competing, Noah shifted gears towards evolving his ground game by studying under a Royce Gracie Black Belt, Adam Martinez. This shift in gears created giant leaps and bounds in Noah’s game and landed him a spot on the UFC’s Ultimate Fighter show. Following his stint on the Ultimate Fighter show, Noah would compete for another five years until he deployed to Iraq to support Operation Enduring Freedom in 2010.

Upon returning from Iraq, Noah took a role as lead instructor in Jordan, where he headed up the new MMA program for two years. While in Jordan, he trained and conditioned the United States Embassy Marines on proper manipulation tactics and subduing procedures. After completing his contract in Jordan, Noah returned to Colorado to start a career in Law Enforcement. Currently, Noah is a Brazilian Jiujitsu Black belt under the famed Brazilian Top team, a Wyoming State certified arrest control instructor and works as a full-time Police Officer and arrest control instructor for the Department of Veteran Affairs Police Department.
